On behalf of Landor LINKS and our partners, we’d like to thank you for speaking at Active City 2024, scheduled to take place at De Montfort University on the 16th and 17th July. We look forward to your insightful presentation and to a successful event.

By including this email address in your safe senders list, you can ensure that you receive all relevant updates and information regarding the event without any risk of them being overlooked or missed.

Access & Tickets

 

Speakers at Active City Leicester will enjoy complimentary access on the day of their presentation, ensuring they can fully engage with the event and their audience.

 

However, should speakers desire to attend on a day when they are not speaking, they will need to acquire a non-speaking ticket for £195 + VAT from TransportXtra.

Individual session briefing notes will be distributed to speakers by Landor LINKS Content Director, Juliana O'Rourke.

Speaker Biography & Photograph

Speakers participating in Active City Leicester are kindly reminded to submit their speaker biography and a recent photograph by the deadline of Monday 1st July.

This submission should include a concise biography of up to 100 words along with a professional headshot. The provided photograph will be prominently featured on the event website and utilised in various marketing materials, enhancing visibility and recognition for the speaker.

Presentation Submission

All Presentations must be submitted by 16:00 on Wednesday 10th July.

Presentations must be sent as a PowerPoint Presentation (.PPT file) and a 16:9 screen ratio.

It's crucial to send presentations to both conferences@landor.co.uk and juliana.orourke@landor.co.uk to prevent potential disruptions during the event.

Submissions can be sent via email or WeTransfer, with a maximum file size of 2GB. Additionally, speakers are advised to carry a backup copy of their slides on a USB stick.

Please note that formats will NOT be accepted.

All videos and audio should also be embedded into the slides to address potential internet connectivity issues.

On the Day

 

All speakers must be present in their allocated room at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time on the day of their presentation to meet with a member of the Landor LINKS Team.

Technical support will be available to address any last-minute concerns. These measures are intended to ensure a seamless and successful presentation experience for all participants of Active City Leicester.

Post Event

Following the event, attendees will receive an email containing a link to access all presentations used during the event. any presentation contains sensitive content, speakers are encouraged to promptly notify us 24 hours after the event for any necessary edits or adjustments.
